I couldn't choose a favorite mantis so I made two! These mismatched earrings each feature their own mantis along with their native plants. The ghost mantis is found in Africa where you will find alocasia polly and wild tradescantia vines in their natural habitat. These are both often grown as houseplants where I live in the US. I would love to see them growing in their natural habitat! The other earring features a Carolina mantis surrounded by wild echinacea and hay scented ferns. The Carolina mantis is native to where I live in New England and often confused with the introduced Chinese mantis. The Carolina is much smaller than the Chinese mantis and more chubby.

These one of a kind dangle earrings are made entirely from sterling silver and hand carved. They will be the only pair of earrings like this ever. They dangle about 3 inches from where they go into your ear. Each mantis was given a rose cut orangey sunstone above them.
