Sweat bee is a common name for a group of bees that are attracted to the salt in human sweat. All are small and none are aggressive. They aren't known to sting, but are so little, that it isn't very painful even if you DID make them so upset they stung you. They are tiny and fuzzy and a native pollinator to North America (unlike the honey bee who is not!) They do often have black bands on their bodies like honey bees do, though. 

This ring was entirely hand carved from my scrap pieces of sterling silver. There is no waste of anything in my studio. All of those tiny pieces of fuzz I cut and added to her body piece by piece. There are some mushroom clusters surrounding her and a beautiful rose cut citrine gemstone. The way that I carved the twig she is perched on is an open design so the ring will be adjustable and I can size if for you before it flutters off home to you.
